Images from a 3-day trip: May 26 to May 28 (2011). The falls and streams were pounding with water -- courtesy of a heavy snow pack. Images from day 1 are from El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall, and Snow Creek Trail. Images from day 2 are from El Capitan and Upper Yosemite Falls trail. Images from day 3 are from El Capitan, Washburn Point and the Panorama trail (Glacier Point to the valley via the John Muir trail). The weather turned wet and cold on day 3. Even had fresh snow falling as I climbed the uphill segment of the Panorama trail. During one pause in the rain, clouds began rising from the valley -- an ever changing and wonderful scene. The last 4 images are from August-2011 -- passing through Yosemite on the way to Mono Lake.
